In the archeological driven, science project from the Computer Graphics group, in the Informatics Department of University of Minho, Bracara Augusta, where the city Braga (in Roman times) was virtualized, I've developed a sub-project entitled: Bracara Augusta - Avatars. Here I've defined a system to populate a virtual world with virtual characters, the avatars. This system allowed the modeling of different types of avatars, with different 'personality' by defining a simple set of behavioral rules. The virtual characters were equiped with virtual senses such as vision, audition, speaking, allowing them to recognize objects in the world and other characters, and interact with them by 'speaking' and 'listening'. This allowed the population of virtual environments with virtual characters with a scripted behavior. In the video we can see different types of avatars interacting with each other and the world with a set of simple behavioral rules.

I've met this underfull photographer in Maui, Hawaii, Genevieve de Rego, during the post ISMRM conference (atribulations of a PhD ;)). This is the website I've designed and developed for her portfolio.

My begining as a zouk entrepeneur!

I've organized this awesome zouk party at Eindhoven - ZoukWave - in an amazing building part of a church. With Adilio Porto as invited teacher, and as horde handler, this party was a great experience, learned a lot, and had lots of fun. I'll put a photo gallery eventually!

I've also designed the flyers distributed all around Netherlands. It was cool.
