Paulo Reis Rodrigues

I am a research associate at the Individual Differences Lab, at the University of Barcelona, exploiting social psychology experiments and neuroimaging. I am also part of event-lab, experimental virtual environments lab for neuroscience and technology - where the experiments happen.

I obtained my PhD degree at the Biomedical Image Analysis, Technical University of Eindhoven, in the low lands, a.k.a. The Netherlands. My work focused on creating new advanced tools for the virtual dissection of white matter. With this purpose I've created new algorithms aiming at giving insight to Diffusion Tensor Imaging Visualisation. I explored segmentation and post-processing related techniques in order to improve the visualisation of such things as the brain. I was under supervision of Anna Vilanova and Bart ter Haar Romeny.

I've finished my Engineering degree (MsC level) in Computer Science at the University of Minho, in 2004, at Portugal.
